I recently read Restoring Harmony by Joelle Anthony and I can tell you that if you enjoyed The Hunger Games then you will love Restoring Harmony. It is about A girl durning the times of 2041 ,the oil has almost run out ,poverty and crime are rampant and food is on a short supply .Armed with only her ingenuity and sheer farmimg know-how ,sixteen-year-old Molly McClure braves a chaotic world where people are hungry and desperate , and no one is as they seem. But if she ever hopes to get home alive she'll have to make so tough fast choices about whome to trust ,especially after a crime organization sets their sights on Molly .Her only way out is to beat them at their own game. Luckily, there's a handsome stranger who's willing to help. This book is full of action and suprises and even has a bit of romance . So if you haven't read it yet i suggest you read it soon .

Book Thoughts : The Hunger Games

If you have not read The Hunger Games written by Suzanne Collins  then you better run to the nearest book store because The Hunger Games was one of the best books I have ever read .this book was so good i could barley put it down, i was constantly reading it brinning it everywhere with me !!!  It reaches out to all types of readers ! This book has action, romance ,rebellion ,si-fi fantcy , realistic because it kinda in my point of view gives us a possibility of our future outcome if our contary continues down the path we are on now . The Hunger games is about : Katniss is a 16-year-old girl living with her mother and younger sister in the poorest district of Panem, the remains of what used be the United States. Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, "The Hunger Games." The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed. When Katniss's sister is chosen by lottery, Katniss  steps up to go in her place.     I have read tons of books and this is still one of my favorites ! Plus this book is sso good they have even decided to make it into a movie! The Hunger Games the movie is set to be released march 23 ,2012 .

simple start

Hi , to all my readers ,thank you for checking out my blog .First I would  just like out by to start by sharing my favorite poem; it was written by Edgar Allen Poe .

The Conqueror Worm

1809–1849
By Edgar Allan Poe

Lo! ’t is a gala night
Within the lonesome latter years!
An angel throng, bewinged, bedight
In veils, and drowned in tears,
Sit in a theatre, to see
A play of hopes and fears,
While the orchestra breathes fitfully
The music of the spheres.

Mimes, in the form of God on high,
Mutter and mumble low,
And hither and thither fly—
Mere puppets they, who come and go
At bidding of vast formless things
That shift the scenery to and fro,
Flapping from out their Condor wings
Invisible Wo!

That motley drama—oh, be sure
It shall not be forgot!
With its Phantom chased for evermore
By a crowd that seize it not,
Through a circle that ever returneth in
To the self-same spot,
And much of Madness, and more of Sin,
And Horror the soul of the plot.

But see, amid the mimic rout,
A crawling shape intrude!
A blood-red thing that writhes from out
The scenic solitude!
It writhes!—it writhes!—with mortal pangs
The mimes become its food,
And seraphs sob at vermin fangs
In human gore imbued.

Out—out are the lights—out all!
And, over each quivering form,
The curtain, a funeral pall,
Comes down with the rush of a storm,
While the angels, all pallid and wan,
Uprising, unveiling, affirm
That the play is the tragedy, “Man,”
And its hero, the Conqueror Worm.

In this poem to me I believe Edgar was trying to express his thoughts about humanity and how we are the puppets and their are so many of us and we come and go so often none of us truly matter more than the other and how no matter how rich or poor in our short lives we all end up the same ...dead . so what poe was trying to say was in the end the true victor is the worm that will end up eating our decomposing bodies once we are in the graves .
                                                          Thank you
